Kananaskis Casino Notes Overnight
A night at Stoney Nakoda Resort
Checked October 11, 2026By the Highway 40 Desk
At Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino, a hotel of 100 rooms and suites shares one site with the casino and Event Centre. So the evening and the morning after happen in one place, as the planner below lays out.

Rooms and suites
The hotel has 100 rooms and suites, and the basics are the same in all of them. Each has high-speed Wi-Fi, a security safe, a 47-inch TV, a mini fridge and a microwave.
Four room types make up the main choice when booking. Two-Queen and King rooms sit alongside Junior Suites, which add an electric fireplace, and Jetted Tub Suites. A Jetted Tub Suite has a separate bedroom and a living room with a two-person jetted tub. Each of the four comes in a mountain-view or a valley-view (sunrise) version.
Two more layouts, One Bedroom Suites and Family Suites, are available by phone at the main number, 403-881-2830. A Family Suite has a separate bedroom with a king bed and its own bathroom. Its living room adds a queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed.

A fitness centre completes the picture, with free weights, a stationary bike, a treadmill and yoga mats.
Meals and the lounge
The Ridge is the resort restaurant, serving family-friendly à la carte meals in a relaxed room decorated with local artwork. It is open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM. Breakfast is served until 11 AM, the same hour as check-out. After 9 PM, room service takes over.
Sidelines Lounge is in the casino area, open daily from 10 AM to 2 AM. Its menu runs to comfort food, beer and spirits, and there are sports on screens and VLTs. Food service stops at 11 PM from Sunday to Thursday and at midnight on Friday and Saturday. Holiday hours are not published, so check them with the resort before a holiday visit.
