In the resort's own words, the Stoney Nakoda are the original "peoples of the mountains", known in the Nakoda language as Iyarhe Nakoda. The resort also writes that they have continuously used, occupied and possessed their traditional lands since well before contact with Europeans.

Its designated licensed charity is the Mini Thni Foundation. Proceeds of Host First Nation casinos go to charitable and religious programs that benefit the community. These details come from the resort's own pages and the AGLC page on Host First Nation casinos.
Online casino play in Alberta
Alberta has a regulated online gaming market. The Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) manages it, and AGLC regulates it. To operate legally, an online operator must register with AGLC and sign an operating agreement with AiGC.
Any site can be checked in AiGC's directory at abigaming.ca/players/registered-igaming-sites. If an operator is not in the directory, it is not regulated, and approved operators display the AiGC logo. PlayAlberta.ca is the province's own online gaming site, run by AGLC, with its revenue going to the Government of Alberta. Players must be 18 or older and physically located in Alberta.
This page carries paid links to one online casino partner, each marked Ad; the site earns a commission and the partner can change. Before opening any site, check it in the AiGC directory.
